Nature Makes me smile

I've always been a fan of nature, especially plants and trees. In the fall of 2017 I arranged some leaves that fell from the oak and maple trees in my parent's yard into a smiley-face. I thought the vibrant and bright colors would make for a nice art piece.

The Observatory

During the 2019 superbloom in California, the observatory stood strong amongst the backdrop of the city and was framed by the flowers along the path to the top of Hollywood Hill. Captured during an afternoon hike (while off of rotations) using a Nikon D7500.

I have bought half of my own supplies, the rest was donated directly from 3M. Here is a link to my instagram page if you would like to see more.
