A fourth year medical student at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and founder of Art of Emergency Medicine, Jon is planning to pursue a career within emergency medicine once he graduates. Dr. Basrai is an Emergency Medicine Physician currently practicing in Los Angeles. He works closely with medical students, interns, and residents rotating through their Emergency Medicine rotation. He is passionate about medical education. He is the founder of nuMose, an online medical search engine that is built for physicians, and the narrative medicine website The Physician Grind. In his spare time Dr. Basrai enjoys traveling the world, running, and eating cheetos.
Aditya Shekhar is an EMS educator and research scientist. He has developed prehospital medical curriculum for international providers, and his research has been published by the American College of Cardiology, European Society of Cardiology, American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, among others. He is also an avid writer and photographer.

Dr. De Portu is an emergency physician at the University of Florida Program in Gainesville. He is passionate about Point of care Ultrasound and undergraduate Medical Education as well as resident wellness. He serves as one of the Assistant Program Directors for the EM Residency Program and is one of the College of Medicine Deans for Diversity.
Prior to his medical career he worked as Photo Editor for the second biggest newspaper in San Juan Puerto Rico and also actively freelanced for the Associated Press. His work has published internationally in newspapers and magazines and has been recognized by the National Press Photographer’s Association (NPPA) and by the National Association Hispanic Journalist (NAHJ). One of Dr. De Portu's pictures published in LIFE Magazine and was runner up for "The Alfred Eisenstaedt Award for Magazine Photography" in 1998, an award given for excellence in photojournalism by the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. He is still active as a photojournalist when time allows. His wife is a lecturer at the College of Journalism and Communications at the University of Florida and they are the proud parents of a 7 year old boy and a 1 year old Minigolden Doodle.
